Updated links today. I believe I have one of the more successful MyBB forums out there today. In a short time to come, I hope to have Major manufacturer sponsors for the site on board. Sites about to take even a bigger jump than what we've had. The server costs are already paid through advertising.

A custom page: Some of these drummers or their bands you may of heard of?
They are members of our forum.

Some quick info on CSM is we just turned 3 years old using MyBB only. As of recent we are growing very fast and have been mentioned in worldwide drumming magazine publications. We are also recognized and supported by the only ISO rated drum manufacturer company in the world for shipping products into the USA. as can be seen at the bottom of the page here

Should break a 100,000 posts by years end, we've been averaging about 4000 posts a month as of late.
Theme does look a bit dark as you mentioned which might be a shock for new users I think. But it might fit the topic nicely and if your users prefer it why not!
Other stuff is great as far as I see, awesome work
Kind regards
Lennart Sauter
Thanks Lennart
I've seen darker themes. But I agree, mine is darker
I just mostly finished our postbit now. I'll get the rounded css corners this weekend I hope. They are square for now.

The VB style header is hard to design unless you go all out imo. Mine don't look bad for staying within not going too crazy so I don't pull my hair out on a template update if it comes around. Kinda like why I stay close to stock themes. Much easier to update and much less time. Especially when you have a busy forum.
I even took some advice from Bey Brad and alternated some color and made it not so bright as far as text goes. The white went from FFFFFF to F9F9F9. Seem to help pretty well, users agreed to it anyhow. I might even go down another shade.
I have more errors than Brad also in WC3 check, but hey, I noticed most were because of some old school reasons I need to update someday like
Quote:<br>
Should be
Quote:<br />
And some of my other tags had the same issues. I guess I will quit being lazy and get around to correcting some of that this year
lol... W3C says I have tags that are not closed. But they are. They are just done old school without the space to close and the slash at the end of tag instead of beginning. Most my users have no clue what html, css or php is
so I wont worry too much there.
Thanks Lennart
I do like it, it's really special and outstanding forum
You could still save yourself work if you do not for example write:
<td background="http://www.centerstagem.com/forum/images/metal/thead_bg.gif" ...
but instead
<td class="some_class" ...
and in the stylesheet:
.some_class {
background-image: http://www.centerstagem.com/forum/images/metal/thead_bg.gif;
}
Would be valid too
Might look more complicated for the moment but will pay out when you want to change the images and don't have to do everything by hand.
Good luck and best regards
Lennart Sauter
Actually that's a great idea I will tackle Lennart. My oldschool ways get the best of me at times.
Regards
Still haven't tackled that Lennart,
I did update more however
First post reflects that.

I didnt even know if i was in the forum. Took me a while to figure out there was a navigation. Its so messy in there lol.
Professional Comment: I suggest changing the skin. It may drive some users away.
I suggest improving the navigation.

Thank for the comments guys, my forum members helped in the design. They understand all the links and have no issues
It's also a very popluar drum forum that does better than 95 percent of the MyBB sites. It's very succesful. Advertising pays for the dedicated server. The theme itself, I've gotten many great comments on from Professional designers. I've been asked to port it for 2 forum softwares. It's original to our site so I wont. I will however present a question to the forum. I'll ask the entire forum if they think navigation/structure needs looked at.
Thanks
