I recently upgraded a forum to MyBB 1.4.8 from phpBB 3.0.5.
However, everyone's post counts appear to be 0. New registrant’s posts also appear as 0.

I have run the Admin recount posts but it doesn't appear to fix the issue.

Hmm do you have any problems that could interfere with it?
Not that i know of, thats the only issue on the board, everything else is running perfectly.
Just tested, I just wanted to see if it would work from a fresh account. Same problem.

You might have to wait for a developer to sort this one out. It isn't a problem i've come across before.
ACP -> Tools & Maintenance -> Recount & Rebuild and run all of those.
I have already done so.
Just ran again to double check > The user posts count have been recounted successfully. (they havn't)
Quite a few threads on this, there was a bug in the merge system... run this query in phpMyAdmin:
UPDATE `mybb_forums` SET `usepostcounts` = '1';
Then go to ACP > Tools & Maintenance > Cache Manager > rebuild the forums cache. Then, run the recount and rebuilds again.
