I need to edit more than 10 forums at once. Is there a way to do so?

Edit either the settings or permissions. If I could have only one, I would choose permissions because I change them frequently.

There isn't a way to do that no.

When you create a new forum in a category the forum usually inherits the permissions from that category.

I now need to change all forum permissions, not make new ones.

Well i'm sorry but currently there isn't a way to change all the permissions in the forums at the same time. You could however just copy the values of a forum's permission through phpmyadmin or equivalent.

there used to be a way. I'll check to see if I can find it.

Edit: I couldn't find it but you could use group permissions instead .
