I want to display something in members' profiles/postbits that displays how many threads they have created.

Wasn't there a mod for this? I've searched both the forum and Mods section but can't seem to find it.

Only minor problem is that the thread count doesn't show in members' profiles as well.

How many times will I have to bump this?

I've never heard of the mod before and well you'll probably have more luck searching for it your self as I can't find it right now . It has a forum post to it though as it's an attachement.

Are you kidding? I searched and searched. I tried things such as "thread count mod"/etc. and it never came up.

There it is. Took about 10 seconds. Put "thread count" with the " and " into the keyword box, choose the releases forum, and it comes up.
