I read a thread at the german an community and there were three pages. Butt when I want to go to the third page I get the error that the specified thread does not exist.

What is the link it is giving you for the third page?

When I view that thread, it only appears as two pages, and even specifying a  page number such as 3, takes me back to the first page.

Can you try the following showthread.php and tell me if it now only shows 2?

That's weired...I did nothing and now it only shows 2 pages. But it wasn't a caching problem or something else because I tried it with 3 browsers and they all displayed the link to the third page but a third page never existed in this thread.

let me ask it this version of showthread.php attached o new released version or i must download it??

The version attached is currently not in the MyBB release, but it changes some code which may be causing this.
