Well the site needs a complete make over or a lot of work. And, then the forum needs a theme that matches

I'm not a good designer, and it shouldn't really matter if your only going to see the homepage once for signing up.
Make sure you don't look at it in IE.
Still if people see a crap design, not that yours is, they might think everything else is crap. A nice design may not seem important but it is. At least in my opinion.
Well it's not a top level design, but it's not just a blank white page. I expect to upgrade it over time but for now I want to just get the service running.
If design wasn't important, every page on the internet would look like
this.
It doesn't look bad now, but it could be a bit bigger.

Thanks, I'm not much of graphic designer, I'm more of a coder so this was a big step for me.
