If I suspend a user will it stop him from sending pms?
You cannot suspend a user in MyBB as the feature doesn't exist.
If you mean ban then you can configure that in the group settings.
However if you are referring to when it suspends posting then no it doesn't stop the user from sending pm's.

In IPB there is a feature where you can actually suspend a user.
However through warning levels you can suspend posting :p
If you want to "suspend" a user from all functions, just use a temporary ban?
