I am quite new to this type of thing, I am trying to install mybb because phpbb forums from bluehost were complete bs if you ask me.

I downloaded the file, and tried to read up and watch vids on how to install it but I am a bit lost, I am sorry to ask such a broad question but how do I install it ... =( i've honestly tried for hours.
Upload all the files of Upload folder in your filemanager, or create a folder named forum or whatever you like and upload all files of that Upload folder into it. Then make a sql database thrugh phpmyadmin. Then go to this URL

http://www.yourdomain.com/forum/install/index.php

and enter the info display on your screen Wink
I went to mysql databases and created a new one, but when I try going to

http://www.gamerzport.com/forum/install/index.php it isnt working for me.
ehhh, this isn't working out ffs lol why oh why can't bluehost just give me the quick install option.
Did you upload the files? then go there
A 404 is a 404, means the file doesn't exist. Is everything uploaded, to the /forum/ folder??
I am not sure, I followed 3 different guides on youtube and I downloaded the files, dragged them to my desktop and renamed as "forum" went into the xxamp program or whatever and opened the htdocs then dragged all the stuff from the "forums" folder and moved it to hdocs. and I'm a bit lost.

People are trying to help me its just clearly I have noooo idea whatsoever of how to do this stuff =P

I do appreciated those trying though.

I've also tried using filezilla to upload the forums files. Maybe I did that wrong ?
Go into your FTP, go to the root folder, where index.php, member.php, online.php etc is, and printscreen it.
I've just seen your files are actually here: http://www.gamerzport.com/forum/forum/
sorry to be a complete idiot but, "go into your ftp". I made my site a week ago, all I did was sign up with blue host, registered a domain, and started using concrete 5 to make my main site...so sadly I'm not sure how to go into my ftp well not sure where this would be located. I'll keep looking and post when I find it.

thanks
ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh wow thanks .... forum/forum ... that would explain my confusion i guess.
Well your FTP is what you used to upload your files... but I've found the problem, see above post.
