Im trying to add the meta tags from google webmaster but i can't figure out where to add them and when i tried adding the html it wouldn't work either soooooo LOL how to add meta

You mean add them to a MyBB forum, or a HTML page?

that does not tell me where to add them

Headerinclude template, in the Ungrouped Templates.

Add this under Headerinclude template, in the Ungrouped Templates.
<meta name="description" content="your description" />
<meta name="keywords" content="your keywords" />

Headerinclude? I put my meta tags in the index.

Pretty sure there is a plugin for this.

I put mine in the header. That way they show in the portal as well which i am using for homepage.
