My laptop is randomly going into standby when I am in the middle of doing stuff, so not when it is idleing. Any ideas?
Standby or hibernating? Can be because of over heating, and low battery.
Standby. I know the battery is not low because it sometime does it when it is plugged in, and it is cold when it does it.
It's an HP Compaq nx8420 and it is running Windows XP Pro.
