How can I hide the sub-forums from the index? I've searched, with no luck.

I have not tested this but give this a try but keep backups/make a duplicate theme.

Try searching for {$sub_forums} in the forumbit templates and deleting it from the appropriate places.

This is an easier method; Go to your AdminCP --> Configuration --> Settings (Sidebar) --> Forum Home Options --> Subforums to show on Index listing --> Change to 0

And you're done

Just search "subforums" in the settings on the admincp

lol! I didn't even realise that there was a settings search! All this time and so many features i have never discovered! I need to get back in the forum game I think, I am out of touch

Edit: That's all fine and dandy but it hides all sub-forums from view is it possible to hide sub-forums for a particular parent forum? I have several archive forums that I don't want shown but several sub-forums that I do.
