Hi all i have used phpbb for many years using version 2 and 3 i would like to transfer to mybb but first would like to know if it is possible to have the following features.

Ability to add normal pages like a homepage and other information pages.
A users status mod similar to facebook or other where users can enter there current status
User blogs and albums
SEO friendly urls
A menu bar similar to the one i have already
Also is there any way to move my ning community members over as well

User blogs and albums: MyBlogs ( http://mybbsource.com/thread-1896.html ) and MyGallery ( http://mybbsource.com/thread-1356.html )
SEO Friendly URL's: Default MyBB Feature but there are plugins which enhance it.
Menu Bar: You can customise the MyBB templates and themes all you like so you could include your own menu bar if you want.
Moving Members over: You can use the MyBB Merge System for that http://www.mybboard.net/downloads/merge-system

Unfortunately we are all waiting on MyNetwork, our best bet is to be patient, I can't imagine this is a vital part of your site? It I imagine will be fairly easy to addon when your forum is running.

This is a very large plugin and requires alot of development from the creator Tom, being patient will be the key! You would rather a plugin which works to the best of it's ability, rather than one with many bugs and errors which requires you to return to this forum requesting support because it was rushed.

I totally agree and would prefer one that works well thanks.

I did notice that that thread is now closed so how will we find out when it is done?

If you monitor regularly the Plugin Release section it will be in there, but also generally browse the other Plugin forums as it is likely a thread on the subject could be made in the Discussion and Support and/or the development one again.
