I have this problem and i cannot solve it

The ACP works normal..

I checked if i have an index.html page in the root directory but not
i think Its not my index template problem because i tried to reupload the skin and also with the default template.

I can also view threads and forums, but not the index.

What can it be?

Just check that you don't have an index file (anything but .php) in your directory. If you don't then try reverting your index template.

I think you need to remove the install directory after you install it.

No you don't it should create a lock file after you have installed it. Even if it didn't it wouldn't affect the frontend of MyBB. It would just display a notice in the AdminCP

That message changed since i posted it... It was still asking him to setup lol.

Yes, it changed because i reinstall with a backup to fix the problem..

so now it is fixed
