i have made a forum private with a password, i have unchecked where it says di i want the posts to be counted, and i have noticed that the posts are still being counted on admin and members. has anyone else noticed this?

Posts are still counted within the forum. That setting just means that the posts are not added to their post count.

If you did mean that posts are still added to the user, I can't reproduce this.

My mistake i was looking a todays top posters plugin but the posts in there profile are not changing.

If the checkbox is unchecked then the posts in their profile won't go up :p
They will still be included in the forum statistics though.
