FacyZoom is free and small js script which allows the user to touch an image with the mouse, then that image is magnified. Click the magnified image and the image returns back to small.
It would be nice to see an icon which indicates that the image is zoomable. FancyZoom shows artifacts on each corner using Opera and IE while in zoom mode.
