Dark is more of a "gamers theme" though you can add light elements.
So do I have to change my theme to a darker one?

It's true.. It's pretty difficult to look for a good dark theme especially for MyBB.. But I found one.. customized it abit though..
I enjoy gaming from time to time, but I rather dislike dark themes. Go figure.
I decided to use a dark theme as default.. Thanks everyone.. Anything else you guys might want to say about the site?
