What are you talking about? That's what plugin does(atleast that's what it sounds like it does).

It only goes from English -> 20 languages, but cannot go from 20 lang to English.

The plugin can not detect which language you are using sadly, it'll just translate from the language you did choose in your ACP in all the languages.

But can I modify it in some way to allow it to translate from Spanish to English?

Simply put Spanish as your main language in ACP and you can translate it in other languages.

If you ask if you can modify the plugin to anything that it doesn't support yet - well, if the license allows it and you are able to why not?

Hmm, my forums is international. Main language is English, but got subforms in Spanish. So I can't really change the global language to Spanish.
