MyBB Community Forums

At the moment a lot of people think that we need to integrate MyBB more with other software, for example Drupal or Wordpress.
I'll do my best to integrate MyBB with plugins more into other software because it has been requested. But I'll take it step by step - today: Drupal user integration.
If you have more suggestions and ideas for integration feel free to request them in the request area, I'll look into it then.

Name: Drupal registration plugin
Description: If a new member registers at MyBB he will automatically be registered in your Drupal CMS too. You can choose wether you want to have all new users blocked and activate them manually or activate them at registration. The users can sign into MyBB and Drupal with the same choosen username and password.

This plugin also comes with a site to add all your allready registered users to drupal, they just have to visit the drupal_userregistration.php and after that they can sign into Drupal with their MyBB username as login name and password (It's not possible to get the password from MyBB).

1. Ich freue mich, dass du so eine gute Geschichte wie Integration mit Drupal vorhast, hoffentlich gibst du nicht zu schnell auf.
2. Was mich nicht freut, ist dieses Subscriber-Zeug. Drupal ist Open Source, genau wie MyBB, natürlich beides kostenlos, ich finde, die Plugins sollten auch so bleiben, das stört nur in der Verbreitung der Software bzw. Plugins/Modules. Aber das ist deine Entscheidung...

1. Das Projekt ist momentan gestoppt da von der MyBB Community sehr unterschiedliche Meinungen dazu kamen, außerdem sehe ich keine besonderen Möglichkeiten zur weiteren Integration.
2. Ich kann es mir nicht leisten, etwas zu verschenken, ich muss Geld verdienen. Die Community hat die Wahl zwischen kommerziellen Plugins von mir oder keinen Plugins von mir.
Sorry aber so ist es nunmal- wenn ich nicht für Plugins etwas bekommen würde könnte ich es mir nicht leisten sie zu machen - dann würde ich stattdessen weitere eigene Projekte hochziehen.
Ich glaube nur dass es der MyBB Community etwas nutzt und mir persönlich gefällt die Software.

1. Was heisst "sehr unterschiedliche Meinungen"? Weitere Möglichkeiten für mehr Integration: Gemeinsames Ein- und Ausloggen, Darstellung des Forums direkt in Drupal, aber nicht in Frames (Frames sind gaga ), Gruppensynchronisierung...
2. Ich respektiere die Meinung, wenn jemand Geld für seine Projekte verlangt (schliesslich ist das Arbeit), aber bei Open Source bin ich vorsichtiger. Die Software wird allen kostenlos und völlig offen für die Verwendung bereit gestellt, genau wie der Support, kostenlos durch die Community. Wenn man jetzt etwas eigenes entwickelt, sollte man so viel wie möglich genau unter den gleichen Bedingungen zurückgeben. Nehmen und geben. Das ist ein wichtiger Grundgedanke der Open-Source-Software.

1. Müsste von einem Drupal Plugin gemacht werden, ich persönlich nutze Drupal aber nicht. Ich habe die User Bridge nur gebaut weil es hieß sie würde benötigt - mittlerweile braucht man sie wohl nicht mehr. Auch gut!
