Working on some car data for a friend and his game.

That's what I have for now, it's just a long process. If anyone wants to help me by filling in some information, by any means please do.

If you do decide to help just upload it somewhere and I'll add it to mine whenever. The website I get most of the info from is http://www.rsportscars.com.

If you can't find info on something, leave it blank, just make sure to find info for the right car model year. Any help is appreciated.

If it's for a game please keep in mind that manufactures could get angry if you use their brand names without permission.
At least when making 3D games you have to license a car from the manufacturer.

I'm not sure why it would matter to be honest. If it's a free project what would be the harm?

It's just copyrights and whatnot. I highly suggest you just ask them, they should have no problems.

Modelling new cars and putting them into GTA 4 for example is also a non commercial project - people spend hours into it and manufacturers should be happy for the extra advertisement - in fact, they aren't. You have to ask them or you might get trouble - I experienced that three times now and so I thought I'd point it out.

Forgot to mention this isn't 2D or 3D, so there is no recreation of their data, only display of existing.

However, I'll look into your points and see if I need to take any actions.
