There's two main things:
- Do you have the correct MIME type set for the .doc attachment?
- Is .doc associated with Fireworks on your computer?
This is probably not a bug with MyBB.

Mime type is correct. I don't have fireworks installed, and I don't think FW will open a doc file?
I've seen Labrocca mentioned about this some time ago.

MyBB or your server sends no indication of a Fireworks document. You're computer is displaying that as a result of matching a MIME type with a stored description of it locally.
I've seen Labrocca mentioned about this some time ago.
If you're certain the MIME type is correct, you may wish to look into the description stored locally (I'm not entirely sure where Firefox is pulling the string from TBH).

Well I don't like FW, so never installed it... However I have PS, DW, AAP.

It's not a MyBB problem. It's your computer. I don't have any program that can open doc's and mine says "Which is a WinRAR Doc File" or something
