I went to the settings and changed it from 15 minutes to 1440 minutes which is also 1 day/24 hours so now it says active users in past 1440 minutes but i see some forums say 24 hours instead. how do i fix that?

That online feature is designed for minutes. You can use the Online Today feature if you wish to find out who has been online in the day.
