Yes, your forum is extremely out of date. 1.4.4 was released in November 2008... 9 months ago. There have been 4 releases since, one of which fixed a major security issue, it's amazing you haven't been hacked. Try and keep more up to date with releases, that's why there's a version checker in the ACP...
