First I want to thank MyBB folks for this great product. Second as a newbie to this forum and to MyBB my humble question is a cosmetic one.

I'm having a hard time making my Important Threads stay on top of the Forums in the category I created.

and let me know what I am doing wrong here.

As for whoever is having a problem with Admin CP right after the installation I learned from my host that their security policy for scripts and folders does not allow '777' set to 755 for folders and 644 for files. I hope somebody can benefit from my own mistakes.

Any subforums will always be on top of the thread list, that's how it works. Important threads will just be on top of normal threads in that forum.

It will look more normal when you have regular posts.
