Hello,

I installed the latest version of Mybb just now and tested it out.

For some reason when I reply it works fine, but when I try to reply again when I'm still logged in, it draws a line in the same reply box and doesn't created a new reply thread.

Example:

Test 1 original post.

Reply:

re: Test 1 original post

Seriously it just helps fight against double/triple posts. To fix this follow the easy steps below.

Steps:
1) Login to your AdminCP
2) Go to Configuration
3) Settings --> Posting --> Post Merge Time (Below)
With this enabled, posts posted within x minutes by the same author right after each other, will be merged. Set the time limit (in minutes) to merge posts. Set to 0 or leave blank to disable this feature. Default: 60

Set this to 0.

Was the 2nd post by the same user as post 3? If so, it does that! It would have to be a different user to make its own box!

That is a default setting of MyBB.
In your Admin CP click the Configuration tab. Find your setting name entitled Posting. Look for the setting name Post Merge Time. Either make it blank or change 60 to 0 to disable it.
