I'm not so great with MYSQL.

What is the point of your post? If the member does not know php or mysql then they won't know how to fix the problem. Also, even if they know some mysql/php they may not know how mybb works and how to debug the issue. Maybe you should work on helping instead trying to belittle the member.

Try disabling the trashcan plugin.

Yes it was that modification causing that problem.
