Would it be possible to make a forum which doesn't appear on the index or on the forum jump menu, but can be seen if you manually edit the URL with the correct ID?

Some people have said that if you make a category and remove all permissions from it, put the forum in that category, with full permissions, it'll work, but others have said that doesn't work... I tried that method and it didn't work so it probably needs a plugin.
