Time to make some sort that you can select which forums's the groups should have access.
Take's seriously hours to fix forum permissions for new groups if you have forum's they shouldn't see

hmmm, I don't see your point. I have 15 user groups on my website. Everytime I create a new group, I can copy permissions from another group or just tick/untick the check boxes for specific forums. It usually takes 10 minutes to do..

It's already been said permissions are being worked on in 1.6 as well .
