Ok I was live-chatting to my webhost, and while we were talking I gave them the link to my forum as they asked. But they said the forum was closed, and they pasted and sent me the closing reason. Dunno what's going on.

I opened, closed, opened, closed, opened, closed.. nothing. Deactivated some plugins, nothing. Asked him to clean his cache, nothing.

???

Maybe try checking the user group permissions and can you provide a url so we can see what you are talking about?

A couple of things.

1) Exactly what message is being displayed to the user?
2) Check the MyBB_settings table in phpmyadmin. The value for "boardclosed" should be 0.

Is settings.php CHMOD to 666??

My forum is down now. Will give you guys some more info when I can access it.
As for your first question, boardhopper, as I said, it shows up the board closed reason set in the AdminCP. But it's not set to closed.
