hey can you with ajax i presume make it so when the the search thing is clicked a little dropdown menu will apear and will have a search thing.
view it here Some thing like that. Also i like the quicklinks too. Maybe a plugin that will do that. Also a plugin that will move the user/admin cp into the main links menu.

I believe AJAX is already implimented in myBB Confused
