Name: Mark external links
Description: This plugin will mark all external links with a small default image like Wikipedia does. You can also choose special images instead of the default image for certain homepages.
Extra: Internal links (to your forum threads and so on) will be opened in the same and not in a new window, you can enable/disable that feature in the settings.

Please note that the plugin will not affect the database, your posts are save from any modification.
No additional DB queries are performed.
This plugin has been stress tested on a quadcore server with 100 page calls at the same time and does slow down the loading at a half second under the load of 100 pages at the same time.

Before the plugin - it's a mess, you don't know where the link will lead you, especially with a custom title.

I don't really like the theme of your site, but I really like this plugin, I guess I'll be joining! ;P

Edit: It adds a link to everything, though, is there a way to limit only to the post message?

nope! this is unique..

One free version is available here at mod's site, then its enough for me

But if you just want an image for external links you should use Lennart's plugin. Shadowbox may then a little bit overkill.
I have not tested both plugins activated at same time... Maybe we should test the compatibility of it (@Lennart Sauter).

Wait it looks more messy with the plugin install or is that just me?

Kinda... Just about every link on each post would have an 'image', even the signature.
