Hi, recently i transferred my forum.

I moved it from folder a to folder b. Folder b being my add-on domain.
Thus the mysql is the same.

However when i go to login, it says login successful and redirects me back to the page i was on, but it says im not logged in. Im aware that it is likely a cookie problem.

Did you change the cookie domain? If not move your forum back to the old directory log into the admin panel -> general configurations -> change the cookie domain to the new one and than move your forum.

I went into the inc/settings.php file and changed the cookie domain but since its an addon domain on my host, I'm not 100% Sure what I should be setting it to.

I can either set it to

• .webmasters-resort.com
  
• .lyndonstudios.com/webmasters-resort.com
  

What is the domain url for the board?

For a domain its: .domain.com
For a sub-domain its: .sub.domaian.com

If I am correct.

My Hosting Domain is www.lyndonstudios.com
Then My Addon Domain is www.webmasters-resort.com (This is the Forum I am having trouble with)

The hosting domain doesn't count, if your Board URL is webmaster-resort.com than your Cookie domain should be .webmasters-resort.com.

That's What I edited in the inc/settings.php file but still the same problem.

I forgot to reset the folder to /
