I know Winamp is better than WMP, but haven't gotten around to using it, yet. Some people say Winamp uses huge amounts of CPU, and others say "almost none."
Do you use (or have you used) Winamp?
Do you think it uses a lot of CPU? (Which version of Windows??)
Winamp is amazing for Windows and I used it in the past for Windows but I am more a Linux kid so I use Banshee

I used to use winamp for everything! Now it's kind of useless. For videos I use Media Player Classic. I don't really listen to music off my hard drive when I'm at the computer as I use pandora radio when I'm on my computer. And, well I'm not going to install just so I can add and remove music off my iPod when I already have iTunes.

I used Winamp all the time before but now I use Songbird
Eh never really got interested on searching the best music player, so I just use windows media player. It's good, and that's it.
I use Winamp for my music, and VLC Media Player for my videos.
Winamp doesn't use more then maybe 50mb of RAM at most, and as for CPU it uses very little. I haven't had trouble with it ever.
