The original template was fixed and for a 800 pixels screen and wider.

We were stuck between two situations :

1- If we widen the page, people with less than 800 pixels wide screens will have to scroll horizontally to view it.

2- If we divide the information in more pages, people would need to navigate even more.

Maybe we could elongate the page for give more space vertically, will it be enough? What do you think of it?

Maybe you can make two versions, an 800px and a larger one?

yes ofcourse, but that layout was crap. hire an real designer instead.
