That's strange, if the video is shown in the thread, it should also in portal.
I never had problems with it.
for example here:

Are only the links shown, even if the post is made by an admin or mod? I've just testet the settings again and had no problems.
Just for clarification: embedding only works with this setting if the post is made by an admin, supermod or mod but the videos are shown to all users. It's just a restriction to who can post embedded flash files.

Yes, they can still embed .swf files for some reason. Maybe it's another plugin conflicting with it.

Um maybe...
Do your usergroups have the default group ids 3, 4 and 6 for supermods, admins and mods?
And can you check in your database in table "mybb_settings" if the value for av_flashadmin is "mods"?

you can't add personal mycode to automedia.
you can either add your own mycode in ACP - Configuration - MyCode
or make a suggestion for adding new supported sites (i.e. tm-tube.com) in the next version of automedia

looks like MTV have changed their code again

I've attached the file with the new MTV code. Just upload it to inc/plugins and overwrite the old one.
