If I create a template set and then wish to have another set almost identical to that one, is it possible to duplicate the first set I created, so I can adjust it slightly? Rather than having to create a set from scratch again?
Doesn't seem to be, but you could export the theme that uses those templates and then import it, you'd get the template set added again. Might have the same name though but that wouldn't be a problem really.

It works even better than you said, because when you import it asks you if you want to change the name of the theme, so therefore I didn't end up with the same name.
