Check that the full </theme> is at the end of the XML file.
Ok, I've attached one of the themes that I've tried. I've tried lots of different ones, too. I'm starting to think it's my hosting service.

They both import fine for me on my localhost.
Argh... Whats is going wrong with it here... the first time I installed the theme it imported great but I had to unistall and reinstall it and since them I can't import...
