Neither of those two features have been 'officially' accepted to be features for 1.6. Otherwise, you'd see them in the development site.

I understand this that's the reason I asked why..

Where's the un-official list of features being considered, or do we have one of those? If I knew these were being considered I wouldn't of even made this post.

Also, is that all that's going to be added to 1.6 for features until 2.0?

MyBB 1.6 is closed to feature suggestions. What you see on the development site feature list is what you'll get.

Wow, and that's a looong time to 2.0.
