I can see that i have 112 total registered members and 16 active members...I dont want to show active members..pls tell me how to disable active members option from admin cp...

I think you use Active Users plugin. Just deactivate it.

If you do mean the section on the ACP home page, I don't see why you'd really want to remove it, only you can see it... it would need a core file edit of some sort.
