Is there a way to have reported posts be logged in a forum for later reference?
I think you can have them moved to a forum once reported, and how many users have reported with mybbcentral plugins, but not that. Not yet at least. You should ask for a plug.
Umm, I would personally just use the trash can plugin but that's me.
