Hello,

My browser and antivirus showed me that there is some malicious code on my forum. I checked index.php and deleted the crypted virus which was sitting between <script> tags in the end, after php closing.

Then I uploaded the index and now my site is down.

What can be done to restore the forum back to working state?

The easiest way is to simply re-upload all MyBB-files.

Also go through all templates that are showing as edited and check there's no malicious code there.

What was ./index.php CHMOD to??
