How often is the user post counter updated. Some new members who have posted a lot, still have 0 in their post count.
Its updated automaticly every time a user posts. it isnt timed.
What board is this hapenning on?
Make sure that you have the forum settings correct in the admin panel. This happened to me before, but after I changed my settings it was fine.
If you are referring to sections on this forum ("MyBB Community Forums") then thats because most rooms have had post counts disabled.

What settings would disable the post counter?
admin cp -> Manage Forums -> Edit -> "Make posts in this forum count towards user post counts Yes | No"
Yep that was the problem. I had it enable all of the child forums to track the posts.
