Requesting this features in next mybb version!!!
When you make a new group you can have an option to manual add them to forums, none or all. when you add a new group now, they have automatically access to view, post etc to all forums, which takes time to "disable" if you have alot of forums.

Also an function to see what forums each groups have access to view, post etc on. then you can get an better overview instead of going manually through each forum.

I believe 1.6 will feature a simplified permissions structure. Not sure about the second one, though, although it sounds like a good idea to me.

You don't need to bump suggestion threads, just because nobody's posted anything doesn't mean we haven't seen it.
