This works anywhere you allow MyCode to be used. eg. shoutbox, signatures, posts, etc. Allows upload of images.

Features:With this shoutbox, you could talk as anonymous, your google account, yahoo account, FriendFeed account, My Blogger account, and a couple more. Then you could chat with your followers on twitter, yahoo, google etc. including your own forum.

Doesn't having a shoutbox inside posts defeat the whole object of a forum??

I haven't really found this useful yet. The code could just be ripped and added to a custom page.

Actually this would be very useful for a member that needed help from a staff member. I would pin and close the topic in my support forum and they could use the box to get help with a board related issue.

Is this widget configurable to allow or disallow certain things ? and do you have to sign up for it ?

I know this thread is old, but I just came across it. Would someone be able to update this mycode as I wold like to use it on my Forum. I tried this one, but the website is shut down so the code no longer works.

I found this site www.embedded-chat.com I'm not sure it can be used or if I need to find another widget site.
But if someone could get this working for me I appreciate it a lot.
