This is an error being received repeatedly on my board:

I can not seem to post anything lately without getting this:

MyBB SQL Error
MyBB has experienced an internal SQL error and cannot continue.

SQL Error:
2006 - MySQL server has gone away
Query:
INSERT INTO mybb_threads (fid,subject,icon,uid,username,dateline,lastpost,lastposter,views,replies,visible,notes) VALUES ('10','SEPTEMBER\'S USER LOOK UP','0','4','grammaellie','1253573632','1253573632','grammaellie','0','0','1','')
Please contact the MyBB Group for support.

You need to contact your host; basically the forum can't connect to the MySQL database, and your host is the only one who can do anything about it.

Can I also ask you to take a full-page screen printscreen of this error, save it as a .png and attach it here, please?? I'd like to add it to the Wiki

I will try to get the screen shot - it was reported to me by a user, i haven't seen the error myself.

So I can't do anything in my cPanel to fix the SQL error myself?

Nope, this usually happens when the host is just having technical difficulties and it can't connect - contact them and see if they know what's causing it, they may be working on it already; this error isn't usually around for that long.
