I have a set of emoticons I would like to add to my forum.
Searching Google or the forum for 'MyBB add emoticons' doesn't result in anything useful.
How do I add emoticons to my forum?
AdminCP -> Configuration -> Smiles.
First, go to FTP or something (Filezilla is good), make a new folder/directory in the images folder, then upload those smilies to that. Go to Admin CP, log-in, click on the Configuration tab at the top, look at the left side, click Smilies, click the "Add Multiple" tab at the top of the box, and point it to that folder with the custom smilies. (eg. images/[yourfoldername]) Then you'll be able to assign different names and shortcuts to them (eg. Laugh Hardly; xD; Yes). As far as I know, .gif, .png, .bmp and .jpeg/.jpg work.
Seriously, I thought everyone knew that.
