I registered for the mybb development site but cannot login as not getting activation. I just wanted to post this so someone can report it.
When you go to edit a post, there is a space before the first character of the post. When you edit it therefor once edited there is a gap.
Do you mean quick edit?? If you mean what I think you mean, this was found a while ago, I can't remember the specifics but there's a <p> tag added when the quick edit is used, causing the spacing... it wasn't classed as a bug so won't be fixed for any 1.4.x release but may be changed in a future feature release, I don't really know.
How can I fix it ?

It's just a extra line at the top of the post after you have quick edited. I can if you want to ?
Yeah, that's what I was explaining above, there's a <p> tag somewhere that's added in, I think it's in xmlhttp.php, happens on all forums.
