Hi,
I read all the SMTP threads posted in this forum but i couldn't find an answer to my problem.

I've set up a mail account with my hosting provider and set the STMP mail settings in MyBB correctly from there, but when i try to send mail, or register a user an activation email is not sent, an in the AdminCP system mail log i have this error:

The SMTP server does not support any of the AUTH methods that MyBB supports

As my hosting provider said it's not their problem Smile,

Does anybody have any suggestions?
Should I try to make the settings with some other SMTP mail?
In context with this error there is this other one:

The mail server does not understand the RCPT TO command. Reason: 530 SMTP authentication is required.

No one has any ideas? What might be the problem?
Well a little chit chat with my self won't hurt,
my host required PHP mail with SMTP authorisation
hm... that;s a little hard to find out...

Do thanx "Me" for the reply and answer Big Grin
