Is it possible to rename "showforum.php" to something else? At my school they filter the word "Forum" in URL's.
Just renaming it breaks all kinds of things but remarkably little i must say.
But why not use the google seo plugin? it won't have showthread or forum/display in the url...
ETA: a few urls do... Maybe if you play around with the .htaccess you can change that as well
If you rename your files, your forum might not load.
Is there even a showforum.php file?? Think you mean forumdisplay.php
I think you'd need quite a few file edits, for when URLs are generated etc... and would probably cause a real headache when trying to debug issues you may have with viewing forums after it.
