Hi,

I got a photography forum and am wondering about the attatchment part.

COuld i disable it so it doesnt show ?

If not does it actually store a 10mb file as 10mb for instance or does it compress it?

In the acp you can turn off attachments. and i don't know if Gzip does that to it aswell. Tell them to upload to Flickr.

Is there a way i can actually delete it from the template so it doesnt show?

I think you don't need to edit your templates. Set the group permission. Set the group can't post attachment. It will make the uploader form will not show for them.
