It happens once in a while...
I get this error:
MyBB has experienced an internal SQL error and cannot continue.

SQL Error:
2002 - Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' (2)
Query:
[READ] Unable to connect to MySQL server

I have upgraded and am using the new version but I have not had a problem. This happened the other day so I went in cpanel and checked the DB and it was just fine.
What should I do?

This isn't to do with what version you're running and you can't fix it in cPanel, you need to ask your host about it.

Okay I thought it was something to do with the host. I think it just drops the connection now and then. Thank you.
